Frequently Asked Questions

Officially, we say 6-18.  In reality, we won't put an age restriction on any new Spartan who wants to join us.  We will just create new groups as needed.

Please reach out to us if your child cannot tolerate an item due to sensory processing issues.

Hockey: 

• skates
• stick
• CSA approved helmet 
• gloves
• elbow pads
• shoulder pads
• shin guards
• neck guard
• hockey pants
• jock/jill 
• jersey (provided)
• socks (provided)

Soccer:

• shorts
• tshirt (provided)
• shin pads and socks
• soccer cleats

Bowling:

• shirt (provided)
• pants or shorts
• indoor shoes are required inside the bowling alley. Bowling shoe rentals are included. 

That's okay!  They won't be alone, and we will have a team on the ice ready to help every child. They'll learn together, as a team.

No.  We have labelled this as for children with autism and other disabilities and desire to maintain that. However, we understand that diagnosis delays are an unfortunate reality, so please let us know your situation. This organization was developed and will be maintained for those children who are unable to play mainstream organized sports in our community.
